Ragdoll Kitten Adoption Process
STEP 1:
Submitting an adoption application is the first step in our adoption process. We want our kittens to go to loving homes, and we want you to take home the kitten you always dreamed of, so the more detail you can provide on your application, the better! Upon your application’s approval, you will be added to our waitlist.

STEP 2:
Waitlist members are the first to be notified when kittens are born and will have “first dibs” once kittens become available at 8 weeks of age. I allow 24 hours to complete the reservation process before kittens will be made available to others. A signed adoption agreement and a $500 deposit are required to reserve a kitten. Please note that the deposit will apply toward the final cost of the kitten. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to future litters for a period of up to two years. Please review the Conditions of Sale noted at the bottom of this page.

As you prepare for your new kitten’s arrival, I will send you weekly updates so you know what your kitten has been up to. Please also check out our Caring for Your New Ragdoll Kitten page and our Products We Love for Our Ragdolls page to make sure you have everything you need. The remaining balance for your kitten is due by the scheduled go-home date. For more information on pricing, please see below.

Retired Breeding Cats
As the kings and queens in our breeding program retire, we may occasionally have adult Ragdolls available for adoption. These cats have been spayed/neutered and are ready for their forever homes. Please contact us for availability and pricing.
We will sell kittens with breeding rights to registered catteries that hold similar values to our own. If you are interested in a breeding quality Ragdoll kitten, please contact us for more information.

Conditions of Sale
-
A reservation fee is required and will apply toward the purchase price of the Cat. This fee is non-refundable for any reason owing to the circumstance of the buyer, including but not limited to buyer no longer being able or willing to take the cat.
Buyer will forfeit the reservation fee and any rights to the cat if buyer fails to pay the balance of the purchase price by the agreed upon transfer date. In this event, the breeder shall be free to sell the cat to another party.
If, for any reason, at any time in the cat’s life, the buyer cannot retain ownership of the cat, the cat shall be returned promptly to the breeder. No refunds or payments will be due to the buyer.
-
I offer a three-day General Health Guarantee to protect against illness contracted prior to a cat/kitten leaving my cattery and a Genetic Health Guarantee to protect against inherited genetic diseases during the first five years of the cat/kitten’s life.
My first priority in breeding is to maintain the health and wellbeing of all my kittens. I urge you to reach out to me if your cat/kitten develops any health issues. I will work with you to the best of my ability.
-
Please, do not declaw your cat/kitten. This surgery involves amputating the last joint of the cat’s toes, is known to cause pain, and is associated with issues such as poor balance, insecurity, biting, and poor litter box use. Declawing the cat will void all health warranties.
-
Since Ragdolls are bred to have a docile temperament, they lack may of the survival skills necessary for life outdoors. Cats allowed outdoors must be leashed or enclosed; allowing the cat to free roam outdoors will void all health warranties.
-
All kittens are sold as pets and will be spayed/neutered before leaving my home. The only exceptions are kittens purchased as breeding cats.

Adopting a Ragdoll is a long-term commitment. However, I do understand that life happens and circumstances change. Please contact me if you cannot keep your Ragdoll for any reason. I will gladly help you find a good home or take the cat myself.
Under no circumstances will this Cat be sold, leased, or given away to any pet store, animal shelter, research laboratory, breeding mill, or an agent for any such business or facility. The cat must also never be relinquished to a shelter.
